Find More Motivation Now: Be Your Own Motivational Guru
I very much appreciate the motivation we can accept from inspirational gurus. People like Tony Robbins, Zig Ziglar, Napoleon Hill and Earl Nightingale share their wisdom for the betterment of others. They inspire us to get off our sofas and do the things we are meant to do. They encourage us to claim our excellence.
You can invest a large amount of money to hear others’ motivation in person. And I’m sure it’s worth it, if what they say nudges you. You can sometimes pay an additional higher amount in order to have a more personal mentorship with an expert. But even if you do all that, you still have to be your own motivational guru.
Zig Ziglar said he recommended motivation daily, just like bathing. That may be enough, if your goals are attainable with only an hour of focus, or less, each day. But many goals will take more than that.

Do You have Motivation for Your Goals?
Working on your goals daily is good! And it’s great to motivate others. It feels good both to be the one cheering others on, and to have support from others in your own goals. But still, you’ve got to be the main source of your own motivation. I think that is true for any goal or desire you may have in any area of life.
You can talk yourself out of anything, especially when you hear no, or hear others saying why it’s not a good idea, or when you encounter obstacles. But, the key is to listen to your own inner compass for guidance. In yoga, they often say to follow your bliss.
Do you have something you want to do, that has the potential to make the world a better place? This could be something you want to do in your career, or outside of it. If it’s something that can make the world better, even if it’s only to add a little more beauty, or to help others, then DO IT. Give yourself permission. Give yourself the gift of daily, ongoing motivation to work toward your goals. Even if you only take small steps.
You don’t have to put your whole life and fortune into it. That’s up to your situation and comfort level. But you can bring about the heart of your desires, even if in a smaller way or slightly different way. Let your light shine, even if it’s not the way you first imagined it shining. Fan that flame and find your motivation. You are really the only one who can do that for yourself.
